Heads Up – Bike Meet Drive-in Awning

Suddenly there is a loud crash and the bike is crunched off the car; bike meets drive-thru awning…

Is my bike covered? Auto insurance doesn’t normally cover the damage to your bike. It is usually covered under your homeowner’s or renters’ insurance under contents even though the bicycle is on your car when it was damaged. Keep in mind Auto insurance will cover damages to the car, depending on coverages, and to the awning the bicycle hits. Remember to speak to you independent agent to make sure you are adequately covered.
